Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a dog drinks from the utensil of anyone of you it is essential to wash it seven times."

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا شَرِبَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعًا

When a dog licks a utensil belonging to any one of you, (the thing contained in it) should be thrown away and then (the utensil) should be washed seven times.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُرِقْهُ ثُمَّ لْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When a dog drinks out of a vessel belonging to any one of you, he must wash it seven times.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا شَرِبَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The purification of the utensil belonging to any one of you, after it is licked by a dog, lies in washing it seven times, using sand for the first time.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ طُهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولاَهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ

Of the a hadith narrated by Abu Huraira from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, one is this: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The purification of the utensil belonging to one amongst you, after it is licked by a dog, lies in washing it seven times.

عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ طُهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِيهِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

The Prophet (sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: The purification of the utensil belonging to any one of you, after it has been licked by a dog, consists of washing it seven times, using sand in the first instance. Abu Dawud said : A similar tradition has been narrated by Abu Ayyub and Habib b. al-Shahid on the authority of Muhammad.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ طُهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ أَنْ يُغْسَلَ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ أُولاَهُنَّ بِتُرَابٍ

the Prophet said: "Wash the vessel the dog has drunk from seven times: the first or the last of them with dirt. And when the cat drinks out of it, wash it once."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يُغْسَلُ الإِنَاءُ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولاَهُنَّ أَوْ أُخْرَاهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ وَإِذَا وَلَغَتْ فِيهِ الْهِرَّةُ غُسِلَ مَرَّةً

"If a dog drinks from the vessel of one of you, let him wash it seven times."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا شَرِبَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him throw (the contents) away and wash it seven times.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُرِقْهُ ثُمَّ لْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

"If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times, the first time with dust."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 64)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ غَسَلَاتٍ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 64)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ _ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِى إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ غَسَلَاتٍ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ طُهْرُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِيهِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)

قال قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The purification of the utensil belonging to any one of you, after it is licked by a dog, lies in washing it seven times, using sand for the first time. (Using translation from Muslim 279d)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ طُهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولَاهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ

The Messenger of Allah said: "If a dog licks the vessel of anyome of you, let him wash it seven times." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 364)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا شَرِبَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

"If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times, the first time with dust." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 339)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءٍ غُسِلَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أَوَّلُهَا بِالتُّرَابِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a dog drinks from your vessel, wash it seven times."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا شَرِبَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "The purification of the vessel of one of you, if it is licked by a dog, is to wash it seven times. The first time with dirt and the second time with cat."

Note: ﷺ is an honorific used in Islamic tradition after mentioning the name of the Prophet Muhammad to mean "peace be upon him".

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَطُهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ أَنْ يُغْسَلَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ الْأُولَى بِالتُّرَابِ وَالْهِرَّةُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The purification of a vessel in which a dog has licked is to wash it seven times, the first of which is with dirt, and once or twice with sand." "This is a source of doubt."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «طُهُورُ الْإِنَاءِ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ أَنْ يُغْسَلَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ الْأُولَى بِالتُّرَابِ وَالْهِرَّةُ مَرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ» «قُرَّةُ يَشُكُّ»

The Messenger of Allah said: "If a dog licks the vessel of anyome of you, let him wash it seven times." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 364)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَاغْسِلُوهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: "The purification of the vessel for one of you, if a dog has licked in it, is to wash it seven times."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «طَهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ أَنْ يُغْسَلَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُهْرِقْهُ ثُمَّ لِيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The purification of the utensil belonging to any one of you, after it is licked by a dog, lies in washing it seven times, using sand for the first time. (Using translation from Muslim 279d)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «طَهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولَاهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ»

قَالَ أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلِغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي الإِنَاءِ أَنْ يُغْسَلَ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ

عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ قال يغسل الإناء سبع مرات أولهن بالتراب

عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا ولغ الكلب في إناء أحدكم فليغسله سبع مرات

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ طهور إناء أحدكم إذا ولغ فيه الكلب أن يغسله سبع مرات أولهن بالتراب

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a dog licks a utensil, it should be washed seven times."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءٍ غُسِلَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ»

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ إِحْدَاهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The purification of the vessel of one of you, if a dog licks it, is to wash it seven times."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولَاهُنَّ أَوْ أُخْرَاهُنَّ بِتُرَابٍ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a dog drinks from the utensil of anyone of you it is essential to wash it seven times." (Using translation from Bukhārī 172)

"إذا شرِب الكلبُ في إناءِ إحدِكم فَليغْسِلهُ سبْعَ مرَّاتٍ".

The Messenger of Allah said: "If a dog licks the vessel of anyome of you, let him wash it seven times." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 364)

"إِذَا وَلَغَ الكْلبُ في إناءِ أحدِكُمْ فليَغْسله سبع مرَّاتٍ".

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)

"إِذَا وَلَغَ الكلبُ في إناءِ أحدِكُمْ فليغْسِلهُ سبْعَ مراتٍ، أولاهُنَّ بالتُّرابِ".

("إِذَا وَلَغَ الكلبُ في الإناء غُسِلَ سبْعَ مرَّاتٍ".

"If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times, the first time with dust." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 338)

"إِذَا وَلَغَ الكلبُ في إِناءِ (غُسِلَ) سبْعَ مرَّاتِ، أولاهُنَّ بالتُّرابِ".

"إِذَا وَلَغَ الكلبُ في الإِناءِ غُسِلَ سبْعَ مرَّاتٍ، أوُلاهُنَّ بالتُّرابِ، وإِذَا وَلغَ الهِرُّ غُسِلَ مرةً".

"طهُورُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الكلبُ: أنْ يَغْسِلَهُ سَبْع مَرَّاتِ أولاهُن بِالتراب".

"يُغْسَلُ الإِنَاءُ إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الكَلْبُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُخْرَاهُن أو أُولَاهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ، وإِذَا وَلَغَتْ فِيهِ الهِرَّةُ غُسِلَ مَرَّةً (*) ".
