TABARANI 3227:
from ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Muḥammad b. Abū al-Rijāl from his father from his grandfather Ḥārithah b. al-Nuʿmān —
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three things that are inevitable for my Ummah: envy, suspicion, and negative assumptions. A man asked, 'What can remove them, O Messenger of Allah, from someone who is afflicted by them?' He ﷺ replied, 'If you feel envious, seek forgiveness from Allah. If you have suspicion, do not investigate further. And if you have negative assumptions, divert your attention elsewhere.'"
