the Prophet said: "Tawaf around the House is similar to Salat except that you talk during it. So whoever talks in it, then let him not say but good."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الطَّوَافُ حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ مِثْلُ الصَّلاَةِ إِلاَّ أَنَّكُمْ تَتَكَلَّمُونَ فِيهِ فَمَنْ تَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ فَلاَ يَتَكَلَّمَنَّ إِلاَّ بِخَيْرٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "Circumambulating the Kaaba is a prayer, except that Allah has allowed speaking during it. So, whoever speaks during it should only speak good."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ صَلَاةٌ إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَبَاحَ فِيهِ الْمَنْطِقَ فَمَنْ نَطَقَ فِيهِ فَلَا يَنْطِقْ إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Circumambulating the Ka'bah is a form of worship, except that Allah has permitted you to speak during it. So, whoever speaks, let them only speak good."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ صَلَاةٌ إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَحَلَّ لَكُمْ فِيهِ الْكَلَامَ فَمَنْ يَتَكَلَّمُ فَلَا يَتَكَلَّمُ إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ»

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَرْفَعْهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الطَّوَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ مِثْلُ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا أَنَّكُمْ تَتَكَلَّمُونَ فَمَنْ تَكَلَّمَ فَلَا يَتَكَلَّمُ إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ»

[AI] "Allah has commanded His Prophet ﷺ to purify my house for the pilgrims, those who perform 'Itikaf (seclusion for worship), and those who perform the bowing and prostration. So, Tawaf (circumambulation) is performed before the prayer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Tawaf around the House is like prayer, except that Allah has permitted speech during it. Therefore, whoever speaks should only do so with goodness.'

اللَّهُ لِنَبِيِّهِ ﷺ «طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْعَاكِفِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ» فَالطَّوَافُ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَلَّ فِيهِ الْمِنْطَقَ فَمَنْ نَطَقَ فَلَا يَنْطِقْ إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ»

[AI] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Circumambulating the House is a form of prayer, except that Allah allows speech during it. So whoever speaks during it should only speak of good." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.

"الطَّوَافُ حَوْلَ البَيتِ مِثْلُ الصَّلاةِ إلا أَنكمْ تَتَكلَّمون فِيهِ فَمَنْ تَكَلَّم فيه فَلَا يَتَكلَّمْ إلا بخير ".

"الطَّوَافُ بِالبَيتِ صَلاةٌ ولكنَّ الله أَحَلَّ فيهِ المَنْطِقَ فَمَنْ نَطَقَ فَلَا يَنْطِقْ إِلَّا بخَير ".
