"عَن سعيد بن نِمْرَانَ، عَن أبى بكر الصديقِ فِى قولِهِ: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا الله ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا}، قَالَ: الاسْتِقَامَةُ: أَلَّا يُشْرِكُوا بِالله شَيْئًا".  

ابن المبارك في الزهد، وعبد الرزاق، والفريابى، وسعيد بن منصور، ومسدد، وابن سعد، وعبد بن حميد، وابن جرير، وابن المنذر، وابن أبى حاتم، وَرسْته في الإيمان، وهذا يشبه أن يكون مرفوعًا؛ لأن أبا بكر ما كان يفسر القرآن بالرأى
