"عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ، وَعُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، وَعُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانٍ أَعْطَوُا الْقَوَدَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَلَمْ يُسْتَقدْ مِنْهُمْ وَهُمْ سَلَاطِينُ".
