[Machine] Bakr, Siddiq and Umar ibn al-Khattab and Uthman ibn Affan gave the power from themselves and it was not taken from them, while they were the rulers.  

البيهقي:١٦٠٢٦ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا بَحْرٌ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا

بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ وَعُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَعُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ ؓ أَعْطَوَا الْقَوَدَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَلَمْ يُسْتَقَدْ مِنْهُمْ وَهُمْ سَلَاطِينُ

"عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ، وَعُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، وَعُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانٍ أَعْطَوُا الْقَوَدَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَلَمْ يُسْتَقدْ مِنْهُمْ وَهُمْ سَلَاطِينُ".
