I came to the Prophet ﷺ when he was delivering the sermon, and I said: Messenger of Allah, here is a stranger and he wants to learn about this religion and he does not know what this religion is. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at me and left his sermon till he came to me, and he was given a chair and I thought that Its legs were made of iron. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat In it and he began to teach me what Allah had taught him. He then came (to the pulpit) for his sermon and completed it to the end.

When any one of you drops a mouthful he should remove anything filthy from it and then eat it, and should not leave it for the Satan. He also commanded us that we should wipe the dish saying: You do not know in what portion of your food the blessing lies.

(610) bukhari:2872Mālik b. Ismāʿīl > Zuhayr > Ḥumayd > Anas

The Prophet ﷺ had a she camel called Al Adba which could not be excelled in a race. (Humaid, a subnarrator said, "Or could hardly be excelled.") Once a bedouin came riding a camel below six years of age which surpasses it (i.e. Al-ʿAdba') in the race. The Muslims felt it so much that the Prophet ﷺ noticed their distress. He then said, "It is Allah's Law that He brings down whatever rises high in the world."

(610) bukhari:6501Mālik b. Ismāʿīl > Zuhayr > Ḥumayd > Anas

The Prophet ﷺ had a she-camel called Al-ʿAdba' and it was too fast to surpass in speed. There came a bedouin riding a camel of his, and that camel outstripped it (i.e. Al-Aqba'). That result was hard on the Muslims who said sorrowfully, "Al- Adba has been outstripped." Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is due from Allah that nothing would be raised high in this world except that He lowers or puts it down."
