Say, ˹O Muhammad˺, "Indeed, the former and the later peoples  

Say: ‘Truly the former and the later ˹generations˺
القرآن:٥٦:٤٩ –

قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ  

{قل إن الأولين والآخرين}.

quran:92:13 –

And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first ˹life˺.  

And truly to Us belong the Hereafter and the first ˹life˺, that is to say, ˹that of˺ this world, and so whoever seeks either of the two from anyone other than Us has erred.
القرآن:٩٢:١٣ –

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُولَىٰ  

{وإن لنا للآخرة والأولى} أي الدنيا فمن طلبهما من غيرنا فقد أخطأ.
