quran:55:1 – In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

The Most Merciful  

The Compassionate One, God, exalted be He,
القرآن:٥٥:١ – بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

الرَّحْمَٰنُ  

{الرحمن} الله تعالى.

The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,  

The Compassionate, the Merciful: that is to say, the One who possesses ‘mercy’, which means to want what is good for those who deserve it.
القرآن:١:٣ –

الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ  

{الرحمن الرحيم} أي ذي الرحمة وهي إرادة الخير لأهله.
