quran:3:77 –

Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their ˹own˺ oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them; and they will have a painful punishment.  

The following was revealed with regard to the Jews when they distorted the descriptions of the Prophet (s) and God’s covenant with them in the Torah, and ˹God’s covenant with them˺ regarding one that swears an oath to a falsehood when bearing witness or when selling merchandise: Those that sell, exchange, God’s covenant, with them that they believe in the Prophet and return faithfully what has been entrusted to them, and their own oaths, their invoking God’s name in mendacity, for a small price, of this world, there shall be no share, ˹no˺ lot, for them in the Hereafter; and God shall not speak to them, out of wrath against them, nor look upon them, ˹nor˺ have mercy upon them, on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, cleanse them, and theirs will be a painful chastisement.
القرآن:٣:٧٧ –

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا أُولَٰئِكَ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ  

ونزل في اليهود لما بدلوا نعت النبي ﷺ وعهد الله إليهم في التوراة وفيمن حلف كاذبا في دعوى أو في بيع سلعة: {إن الذين يشترون} يستبدلون {بعهد الله} إليهم في الإيمان بالنبي وأداء الأمانة {وأيمانهم} حلفهم به تعالى كاذبين {ثمنا قليلا} من الدنيا {أولئك لا خَلاق} نصيب {لهم في الآخرة ولا يكلمهم الله} غضبا عليهم {ولا ينظر إليهم} يرحمهم {يوم القيامة ولا يزكِّيهم} يطهرهم {ولهم عذاب أليم} مؤلم.

quran:2:174 –

Indeed, they who conceal what Allah has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.  

Those who conceal what God has revealed of the Scripture, comprising all the descriptions of Muhammad (s), meaning the Jews, and sell it for a little price, in this world, taking this ˹little price˺ in its place from the debased ones among them, for fear of losing out if they were to manifest it ˹sc. the truth of Muhammad (s)˺ — they shall consume nothing in their bellies but the Fire, because that is their journey’s end; God shall not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, out of anger with them, neither purify them, from the filth of sin; and theirs is a painful chastisement, that is, the Fire.
القرآن:٢:١٧٤ –

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَشْتَرُونَ بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ مَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ إِلَّا النَّارَ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ  

{إن الذين يكتمون ما أنزل الله من الكتاب} المشتمل على نعت محمد ﷺ وهم اليهود {ويشترون به ثمنا قليلا} من الدنيا يأخذونه بدله من سفلتهم فلا يظهرونه خوف فوته عليهم {أولئك ما يأكلون في بطونهم إلا النار} لأنها مآلهم {ولا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة} غضبا عليهم {ولا يزكيهم} يطهرهم من دنس الذنوب {ولهم عذاب اليم} مؤلم هو النار.
bukhari:7445 – al-Ḥumaydī > Sufyān > ʿAbd al-Malik b. Aʿyan And Jāmiʿ b. Abū Rāshid > Abū Wāʾil > ʿAbdullāh

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever takes the property of a Muslim by taking a false oath, will meet Allah Who will be angry with him." Then the Prophet ﷺ recited the Verse:-- 'Verily those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter, neither will Allah speak to them, nor look at them.' (3.77)  

البخاري:٧٤٤٥ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ وَجَامِعُ بْنُ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ اقْتَطَعَ مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِيَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهْوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِصْدَاقَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ ذِكْرُهُ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً أُولَئِكَ لاَ خَلاَقَ لَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ وَلاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ} الآيَةَ  

ahmad:3576 – Sufyān > Jāmiʿ > Abū Wāʾil > ʿAbdullāh

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : "Whoever takes an oath by my right hand to acquire the property of a Muslim, he will meet Allah while He is angry with him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited to us this statement as proof from the book of Allah, the Mighty and the Majestic, "Verily, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their own oaths for a small price, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter, nor will Allah speak to them" (Surah Al-Imran, 3:77).  

أحمد:٣٥٧٦ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ جَامِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍيَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالَ مُسْلِمٍ لَقِيَ اللهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ وَقَرَأَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِصْدَاقَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ ﷻ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا أُولَئِكَ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللهُ} [آل عمران 77]
