quran:15:5 –

No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.

No community (min ummatin: min is extra) can outstrip its ˹predetermined˺ term nor can they ˹seek to˺ delay it, ˹nor can they˺ put it off.

القرآن:١٥:٥ –

مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ

{ما تسبق من} زائدة {أمة أجلها وما يستأخرون} يتأخرون عنه.

quran:23:43 –

No nation will precede its time ˹of termination˺, nor will they remain ˹thereafter˺.

No community can precede its term, by dying before it, nor be deferred, beyond it (the person ˹in the second verb yasta’khirūna, ‘be deferred’˺ is masculine, having been feminine ˹in the first verb tasbiqu, ‘precede’˺ because this ˹masculine plural˺ takes into account the ˹plural masculine˺ content ˹of the term ‘community’˺).

القرآن:٢٣:٤٣ –

مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ

{ما تسبق من أمة أجلها} بأن تموت قبله {وما يستأخرون} عنه ذكر الضمير بعد تأنيثه رعاية للمعنى.
