nasai:4304 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlá > Khālid > Shuʿbah > Simāk > Murrī b. Qaṭarī > ʿAdī b. Ḥātim

"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I release my dog and he catches the game, but I cannot find anything with which to slaughter it, so I slaughter it with a sharp-edged stone or a stick.' He said: 'Shed the blood with whatever you want, and mention the name of Allah.""  

النسائي:٤٣٠٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُرِّيَّ بْنَ قَطَرِيٍّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I send my dog to catch the game, and I am only able to find what it kills except for the Marwah and the stick." He said, "Pass the blood however you wish and mention the name of Allah."  

الطبراني:١٤٣٧٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُرِّيَّ بْنَ قَطَرِيٍّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ
