"Rafi' bin Khadij said: 'The Messenger of Allah forbade us to do something that was beneficial for us, (but we respect and obey the command of the Messenger of Allah). He forbade us to lease land in return for some of its produce."
رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَمْرٍ كَانَ لَنَا نَافِعًا وَأَمْرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى الرَّأْسِ وَالْعَيْنِ نَهَانَا أَنْ نَتَقَبَّلَ الأَرْضَ بِبَعْضِ خَرْجِهَا تَابَعَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ prohibited us from doing something that would benefit us, and he also prohibited us from using the earth for some of its produce and using dried leaves. He also prohibited us from earning as a cupper (a person who practices cupping therapy).
«نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَمْرٍ كَانَ لَنَا نَافِعًا وَأَمْرُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الرَّأْسِ وَالْعَيْنِ نَهَانَا أَنْ نَعْمَلَ الْأَرْضَ بِبَعْضِ خَرَاجِهَا وبِوَرِقٍ مَنْقُودَةٍ وَنَهَانَا عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ»
