[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , prohibited wearing silk. They said, 'O Allah, yes.' Yahya ibn Abi Kathir contradicted him, narrating from Abu Shaykh, from Abu Himman, from Muawiyah."

الكبرى للنسائي:٩٥٢٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَيهَسُ بْنُ فَهْدَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شَيْخٍ الْهُنَائِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَحَوْلَهُ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ أَتَعْلَمُونَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ؟» قَالُوا اللهُمَّ نَعَمْ خَالَفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي شَيْخٍ عَنْ أَبِي حِمَّانَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ
