The Prophet ﷺ said, "If somebody manumits a Muslim slave, Allah will save from the Fire every part of his body for freeing the corresponding parts of the slave's body, even his private parts will be saved from the Fire) because of freeing the slave's private parts."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا مِنَ النَّارِ حَتَّى فَرْجَهُ بِفَرْجِهِ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: If anyone emancipates a Muslim slave, that will be his ransom from Jahannam.

حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً كَانَتْ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

"O 'Amr! Tell us a Hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever develops one gray hair in the cause of Allah, Most High, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, Most High, whether it reaches the enemy or not, it will be as if he freed a slave. Whoever frees a believing slave, it will be a ransom for him from the Fire, limb by limb.'"

حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى بَلَغَ الْعَدُوَّ أَوَلَمْ يَبْلُغْ كَانَ لَهُ كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً كَانَتْ لَهُ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ

"I said: 'O 'Amr bin 'Abasah! Tell us a Hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ without forgetting or omitting anything.' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, and it reaches the enemy, whether it misses or hits, it will be as if he freed slave. Whoever frees a believing slave, that will be a ransom for him, limb by limb, from the Fire of Hell. Whoever develops a gray hair in the cause of Allah, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection."

حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ فِيهِ نِسْيَانٌ وَلاَ تَنَقُّصٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَبَلَغَ الْعَدُوَّ أَخْطَأَ أَوْ أَصَابَ كَانَ لَهُ كَعِدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً كَانَ فِدَاءُ كُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] Narrated by Amr, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever frees a Muslim slave, his emancipation will be his ransom from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection, limb by limb. And whoever bears white hair in the cause of Allah, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, and it reaches its target or misses, it will be for him as if he freed a slave from the descendants of Isma'il."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً كَانَتْ فِكَاكَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فَبَلَغَفَأَصَابَ أَوْ أَخْطَأَ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever frees a believing slave, it is his liberation from the Fire."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً فَهِيَ فِكَاكُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Whoever frees a Muslim slave, it is his redemption from the fire."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً فَهِيَ فِدَاؤُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

[AI] Narrated 'Amr: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Whoever frees a Muslim slave, his emancipation will be his ransom from the Fire, limb by limb."

حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا لَيْسَ فِيهِ تَزَيُّدٌ وَلَا نُقْصَانٌ فَقَالَ عَمْرٌو سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةًكَانَتْ فِكَاكَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ

[AI] "Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "Whoever frees a believing slave, his ransom will be his release from the fire (of Hell)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً فَهِيَ فِدَاؤُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever emancipates a believing slave, then his emancipation will be his ransom from the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً فَهِيَ فِدَاؤُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Whoever emancipates a believing slave, then it is his redemption."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً فَهِيَ فِدَاؤُهُ»

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet, ﷺ : "Whoever frees a believing slave, his own freedom from the Hellfire will be guaranteed, freeing each of his body parts."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً كَانَتْ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ مَكَانَ كُلِّ عُضْوٍ عُضْوٌ»

"O 'Amr! Tell us a Hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever develops one gray hair in the cause of Allah, Most High, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection. "I said: 'O 'Amr bin 'Abasah! Tell us a Hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ without forgetting or omitting anything.' [AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , "Whoever emancipates a slave, his emancipation shall be his redemption from the Fire."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً فَهُوَ فِدَاؤُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: If anyone emancipates a Muslim slave, that will be his ransom from Jahannam. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3966)

حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مَسْلَمَةً كَانَ فِدَاءُ كُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً كَانَتْ فِكَاكَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ»

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He who emancipates a believing slave. Allah will set free from Fire his every limb for every limb of his (slave's), even his private parts for his. (Using translation from Muslim 1509c)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً أَعْتَقَ اللهُ بِكُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ حَتَّى يُعْتِقَ فَرْجَهُ بِفَرْجِهِ

[AI] Shurahbil bin al-Simt was the governor of Hims appointed by 'Amr bin 'Abasa al-Sulami, the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. "O Abu Najih, narrate to us a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, which contains no addition or omission." Abu Najih said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever frees a believing slave, Allah will free for each of his organs a part from the Fire. And whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, and it reaches its target, it will be for him a reward equivalent to that of freeing a slave. And whoever goes out in the cause of Allah and returns with white hairs [due to old age or ailing], it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection."

شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ السِّمْطِ وَهُوَ أَمِيرٌ عَلَى حِمْصَ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ السُّلَمِيِّ صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَا أَبَا نَجِيحٍ حَدِّثْنَا بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ فِيهِ تَزَيُّدٌ وَلَا نِسْيَانٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً أَعْتَقَ اللهُ بِكُلَّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهَا عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَبَلَغَ الْعَدُوَّ وَأَصَابَ كَانَ لَهُ كَعِدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever frees a slave, it will be his release from the Fire, limb by limb."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً أَوْ عَبْدًا كَانَتْ فِكَاكَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ

"مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤمِنَةً كَانَتْ فِدَاءَه مِن النَّارِ".

"مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً كَانت فِدَاءَه مِنَ النَّارِ بِمَكَانِ كُلِّ عُضْوٍ عُضْوٌ".

"مَنْ أَعْتق رَقَبَةً كَانَتْ فَكَاكَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ".

"مَنْ شَابَ شَيبَةً في الإِسْلامِ، كانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ رَمى بِسَهْمٍ في سَبِيلِ الله بَلَغَ العَدُوَّ أَوْ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ كانَ لَهُ كعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ، وَمَن أَعْتَقَ رَقَبة مُؤمِنَةً كَانَتْ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ".
