[Machine] 'Amr ibn al-'As sent me to Umm Salamah to ask her, "Would the Messenger of Allah ﷺ kiss her while he was fasting?" She replied, "No." So I said, "Aisha informs that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss her while he was fasting." So I went to her and asked her, and she replied, "No." So I said, "Aisha informs that he used to kiss her while he was fasting." She said, "Perhaps he couldn't control his love for her."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٣٠٦٠ – 3073 3060 أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمَعْنِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ قَالَ

أَرْسَلَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَسْأَلُهَا أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ؟ وَقَالَ إِنْ قَالَتْ لَا فَقُلْ لَهَا إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ تُخْبِرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ» فَأَتَيْتُهَا فَسَأَلْتُهَا فَقَالَتْ لَا فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ تُخْبِرُ أَنَّهُ «كَانَ يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ» فَقَالَتْ لَعَلَّهُ مَا كَانَ يَتَمَالَكُ عَنْهَا حُبًّا

[Machine] Abdullah ibn Amr sent me to Umm Salamah and asked her, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss while fasting?" If she says no, then tell her that Aisha informs people that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss while fasting. So he asked her, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss while fasting?" She said no, so I said, "Aisha informs people that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss while fasting." She said, "Perhaps he couldn't control his desire for her, but as for me, no."
