[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fasts Ramadhan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, it is as if they have fasted the entire year." Abu Abdullah Al-Rahman said, "This is a mistake, and the correct statement is from Umar Ibn Thabit."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٢٨٧٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ حَسَنٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَهُ بِسِتٍّ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ فَقَدْ صَامَ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ عُمَرُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ
