قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللهِ} [البقرة: 281]

nasai-kubra:10992 – Muḥammad b. ʿUqayl > ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn from my father > Yazīd > ʿIkrimah

[Machine] "From Ibn Abbas regarding his saying: 'And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.' [Quran 2:281] Indeed, it is the last verse revealed to the Messenger of Allah."  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٠٩٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُقَيْلٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ} [البقرة 281] إِنَّهَا آخِرُ آيَةٍ أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

quran:2:281 –

And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly.  

And fear a day wherein you shall be returned to God, namely, the Day of Resurrection (read the passive ˹turja‘ūna˺ meaning, ‘you shall be returned’, or the active ˹tarji‘ūna˺ meaning ‘you shall return’), and every soul, on that day, shall be paid in full, the requital of, what it has earned, what it has done of good or evil; and they shall not be wronged, through any loss of a good deed or the incurring of an extra evil deed.
القرآن:٢:٢٨١ –

وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ  

{واتقوا يوما تُرجعون} بالبناء للمفعول تردون وللفاعل تصيرون {فيه إلى الله} هو يوم القيامة {ثم توفَّى} فيه {كل نفس} جزاء {ما كسبت} عملت من خير وشر {وهم لا يُظلمون} بنقص حسنة أو زيادة سيْئة.
ahmad-zuhd:2165 – ʿAbdullāh from my father > Yazīd b. Hārūn > Aṣbagh b. Zayd > al-Qāsim b. Abū Ayyūb

[Machine] I heard Sa'id ibn Jubair reciting this verse in prayer twenty-five times. {And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly.} [Al-Baqarah 281]  

الزهد لأحمد:٢١٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُرَدِّدُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ بِضْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً {وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ} [البقرة 281]
