[Machine] "In His saying (And upon those who are able to fast, they have to make a compensation by feeding a poor person) [Al-Baqarah 184]. He said: Able to fast means that you are obligated to compensate by feeding a poor person. And whoever volunteers to do so, it is better for him to increase in feeding another poor person, it is not abrogated. And it is better for you to fast [Al-Baqarah 184]. This is only permitted for the elderly who are unable to fast and for the sick who cannot be cured."

[Machine] In his statement "and upon those who are capable of it," he said "they are required to do it." "It is a ransom of feeding a poor person," "only one." "So whoever voluntarily does good," "he increases the feeding of another poor person that is not obligated." "So it is better for him." "No one is exempted from this except for the elderly person who is not capable of fasting, or a sick person who knows that they will not recover."

[Machine] In His saying ﷻ "And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] is a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]" [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:184], it is said: "those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] are required to give a ransom of feeding a poor person, and whoever voluntarily offers more food to another poor person, it is not considered abrogated. It is better for him, and it is better for you to fast.
