[Machine] He informed him that they had a container with dates in it. Ubayy was responsible for it, so he found it to be decreasing, and he guarded it. Then he saw a creature resembling a young boy. He said, "I give my greetings," and the creature replied with a return of greetings. So I said, "Are you a jinn or a human?" The creature said, "I am a jinn." He said, "Extend your hand to me," and the creature extended its hand. Then he saw a hand resembling a dog's hand and hair like a dog's hair. He said, "This is how the jinn are created." Ubayy said to him, "What made you do what you did?" The creature said, "We heard that you are a man who loves charity, so we wanted to share in your food." Ubayy said, "What will protect us from you?" The creature said, "This is the Ayat al-Kursi." Then Ubayy went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "The impure one has spoken the truth."

[Machine] He informed him that they had a garden in which there was a date palm tree, and it was one that he particularly took care of. However, he noticed that it was decreasing in yield. So, one night he guarded it and suddenly he saw a creature like the appearance of a young boy approaching. He greeted it with salam (peace be upon you), and he responded with the same greeting. He then asked, "Are you a jinn or a human?" The creature replied, "I am a jinn." He said, "Show me your hand." And there, he saw a dog's paw and dog's hair. He said, "This is how the jinn are created." The jinn replied, "I know that none of them is stronger than me." He then asked, "What led you to do what you did?" The jinn replied, "I heard that you are a man who loves charity, so I wanted to eat from your food." He asked, "What can protect us from you?" The jinn replied, "This verse, the verse of the Throne." He left the jinn and went to his father, and informed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He has told the truth, even though he is a wicked creature."
