Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Your (ordinary) fire is one of 70 parts of the (Hell) Fire." Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ This (ordinary) fire would have been sufficient (to torture the unbelievers)," Allah's Apostle said, "The (Hell) Fire has 69 parts more than the ordinary (worldly) fire, each part is as hot as this (worldly) fire."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ نَارُكُمْ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَافِيَةً قَالَ فُضِّلَتْ عَلَيْهِنَّ بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا كُلُّهُنَّ مِثْلُ حَرِّهَا  

"This Fire of yours, which the sons of Adam kindle, is one part from seventy parts of the heat of the Hell." They said: "By Allah! Would it not have been enough O Messenger of Allah?!" He said: "It is sixty-nine parts more – all of them similar in heat.” (Sahih)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ نَارُكُمْ هَذِهِ الَّتِي يُوقِدُ بَنُو آدَمَ جُزْءٌ وَاحِدٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزءًا مِنْ حَرِّ جَهَنَّمَ قَالُوا وَاللَّهِ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَافِيَةً يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا فُضِّلَتْ بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا كُلُّهُنَّ مِثْلُ حَرِّهَا  

Malik related to me from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The fire of the children of Adam which they kindle is a seventieth part of the fire of Jahannam." They said, "Messenger of Allah, this fire is certainly enough." He said, "That fire is sixty- nine times greater."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ نَارُ بَنِي آدَمَ الَّتِي يُوقِدُونَ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَافِيَةً قَالَ إِنَّهَا فُضِّلَتْ عَلَيْهَا بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا  

[Machine] I heard Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ saying, "The fire of the sons of Adam that they ignite is only one part out of seventy parts of the fire of Hell." So a man said, "If it is enough, then it has been exceeded by sixty-nine parts of intense heat."  

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ نَارُ بَنِي آدَمَ الَّتِي يُوقِدُونَ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَافِيَةً فَقَالَ لَقَدْ فُضِّلَتْ عَلَيْهَا بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا حَرًّا فَحَرًّا  

The fire which sons of Adam burn is only one-seventieth part of the Fire of Hell. His Companions said: By Allah, even ordinary fire would have been enough (to burn people). Thereupon he said: It is sixty-nine parts in excess of (the heat of) fire in this world each of them being equivalent to their heat. (Using translation from Muslim 2843a)   

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نَارُكُمْ هَذِهِ مَا يُوقِدُ بَنُو آدَمَ جُزْءٌ وَاحِدٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ حَرِّ جَهَنَّمَ قَالُوا وَاللهِ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَافِيَةً يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا فُضِّلَتْ عَلَيْهَا بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا كُلُّهُنَّ مِثْلُ حَرِّهَا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, your fire is one part of seventy parts of the Hellfire." A man then said, "It is sufficient for us, O Messenger of Allah!" He ﷺ said, "It is more than it by sixty-nine times the heat of fire."

"نَارُكُمْ هَذِهِ الَّتِي يُوقِدُ بَنُو آدَمَ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ، قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله: إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَافِيَةً، قَال: فَإِنَّهَا فُضِّلَتْ عَلَيهَا بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا كلُّهُنَّ مِثْلُ حَرِّهَا".
