Jabir reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (the animals to be beaten) on the face or cauterisation on the face.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الضَّرْبِ فِي الْوَجْهِ وَعَنِ الْوَسْمِ فِي الْوَجْهِ

الترمذي:١٧١٠حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْوَسْمِ فِي الْوَجْهِ وَالضَّرْبِ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He forbade hitting the face."
