I visited A'isha and she brought out for us the coarse lower garfnent (of Messenger of Allah) made in Yemen and clothes made out of Mulabbada cloth, and she swore in the name of Allah that Messenger of Allah ﷺ died in these two clothes.  

مسلم:٢٠٨٠a – حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَأَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا مِمَّا يُصْنَعُ بِالْيَمَنِ وَكِسَاءً مِنَ الَّتِي يُسَمُّونَهَا الْمُلَبَّدَةَ قَالَ فَأَقْسَمَتْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قُبِضَ فِي هَذَيْنِ الثَّوْبَيْنِ

أبو داود:٤٠٣٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ؓ فَأَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا مِمَّا يُصْنَعُ بِالْيَمَنِ وَكِسَاءً مِنَ الَّتِي يُسَمُّونَهَا الْمُلَبَّدَةَ فَأَقْسَمَتْ بِاللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قُبِضَ فِي هَذَيْنِ الثَّوْبَيْنِ

“I entered upon ‘Aishah and she brought out to me a thick waist wrap of the type made in Yemen, and one of these cloaks that are called Mulabbadah,* and she swore to me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had passed away in them.”  

ابن ماجة:٣٥٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ

[Machine] Aisha brought out to us a thick garment made from Yemeni fabric and a covering from this one you call the "muhlabbada." And she said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in these two pieces of clothing."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ
