Hastening to do good deeds even when it is difficult
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a sword on the Day of Uhud and said, "Who will take this from me?" They stretched out their hands, each man among them saying, "I will, I will." He said, "So who will take it with its due right?" The people held back, so Simak b. Kharashah, Abu Dujanah, said, "I will take it with its due right." So he took it and split the heads of the polytheists with it.
