Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Adi ibn Thabit al-Ansari that al-Barra ibn Azib said, "I prayed isha with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he recited at-Tin (Sura 95) in it."
أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting wa t-teeni wa z-zaitun" (95) in the ʿIsha' prayer, and I never heard a sweeter voice or a better way of recitation than that of the Prophet.
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ {وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ} فِي الْعِشَاءِ وَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا أَحْسَنَ صَوْتًا مِنْهُ أَوْ قِرَاءَةً
I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting Surat at-Tin waz Zaitun (By the Fig and the Olive) in the ʿIsha' prayer and I have never heard anybody with a better voice or recitation than his.
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ {وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ} فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا أَحْسَنَ صَوْتًا أَوْ قِرَاءَةً مِنْهُ
" By the Fig and the Olive."
أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ فَقَرَأَ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting in the night prayer:" By the Fig and the Olive," and I have never heard anyone with a sweeter voice than he.
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ فِي الْعِشَاءِ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا أَحْسَنَ صَوْتًا مِنْهُ
"I prayed Al-'Atamah (Isha') with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he recited 'By the gif and the olive' in it.
صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْعَتَمَةَ فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
“I heard him reciting ‘By the fig, and the olive’.”[Al-Tin (95)]
أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ الآخِرَةَ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
[AI] He prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the last night prayer, then he recited Surah At-Tin and Surah Az-Zaitoun.
أَنَّهُ صَلَّى خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ فَقَرَأَ وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
[AI] I prayed behind the Prophet ﷺ for the Maghrib prayer, and he recited Surah At-Tin and Surah Az-Zaitun.
صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْمَغْرِبَ فَقَرَأَ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting in the Isha prayer the Surahs of At-Tin (The Fig) and Az-Zaitoun (The Olive). He said, "I have not heard anyone reciting them better than him."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ قَالَ وَمَا سَمِعْتُ إِنْسَانًا أَحْسَنَ قِرَاءَةً مِنْهُ
[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting in the Isha prayer Surat At-Tin wa al-Zaytun, and I never heard anyone with a more beautiful voice than his when he recited.
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ، فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا أَحْسَنَ صَوْتًا مِنْهُ إِذَا قَرَأَ ﷺ.
[AI] That he prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the Isha prayer. Ibn Numayr said: "the later one." Then he recited in it Surat At-Tin wa az-Zaytun.
أَنَّهُ صَلَّى وَرَاءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ، قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ: الْآخِرَةَ، فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ.
[AI] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting, and I have never heard anything better recitation than his."
«سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فَمَا سَمِعْتُ شَيْئًا قَطُّ أَحْسَنَ قِرَاءَةً مِنْهُ»
"I prayed Al-'Atamah (Isha') with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he recited 'By the gif and the olive' in it. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1000)
