“I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a man who owed me money, and he said to me: 'Keep him.' Then he passed by me at the end of the day and said: 'What did your prisoner do, O brother of Banu Tamim?' ”  

ابن ماجة:٢٤٢٨ – حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْهِرْمَاسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِغَرِيمٍ لِي فَقَالَ لِي الْزَمْهُ ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِي آخِرَ النَّهَارِ فَقَالَ مَا فَعَلَ أَسِيرُكَ يَا أَخَا بَنِي تَمِيمٍ

I brought my debtor to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He said to me: Stick to him. He again said to me: O brother of Banu Tamim, what do you want to do with your prisoner.  

أبو داود:٣٦٢٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ أَخْبَرَنَا هِرْمَاسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ
