It was narrated that 'Ata' said: "Aishah said: 'The Messenger of Allah did not die until women had been made lawful to him.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3204)   

ابن حبّان:٦٣٦٦أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْمَكِّيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ

عَائِشَةُ «مَا مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى حَلَّ لَهُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ مَا شَاءَ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not die until the women had been made lawful for him."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah did not die until Allah permitted him to marry whatever women he wanted." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3205)  

الدارمي:٢٢٨٧أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«مَا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ مَا شَاءَ»
