ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ عَلَى الْجِنِّ الْقُرْآنَ

ibnhibban:6319 – Ibn Qutaybah > Ḥarmalah > Ibn Wahb > Yūnus > Ibn Shihāb > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh > ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "On this night, I recite to the jinn, the kind companions of the darkness."  

ابن حبّان:٦٣١٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «بِتُّ اللَّيْلَةَ أَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْجِنِّ رُفَقَاءَ بِالْحَجُونِ»
