ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ عَرَقَ صَفِيِّ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَدْ كَانَ يُجْمَعُ لِيُتَطَيَّبَ بِهِ

ibnhibban:6305 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Ibrāhīm b. al-Ḥajjāj al-Sāmī > Wuhayb > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas

[Machine] It was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ would visit Umm Salamah and it would be said to her, "He is upon a mattress." And he used to sweat a lot, so she would trace his sweat from the mattress and collect it in bottles along with fragrance. And he used to pray upon a triple mat.

ابن حبّان:٦٣٠٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ فَيَقِيلُ عِنْدَهَا عَلَى نَطْعٍ وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الْعَرَقِ فَتَتَبَّعُ الْعَرَقَ مِنَ النَّطْعِ فَتَجْعَلُهُ فِي قَوَارِيرَ مَعَ الطِّيبِ وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ»

Umm Sulaim, what is this? She said: It is your sweat, which I put in my perfume. Allah's Apostle ﷺ sweated in cold weather when revelation descended upon him. (Using translation from Muslim 2332)

أحمد:٢٧١١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِيهَا فَيَقِيلُ عِنْدَهَا فَتَبْسُطُلَهُ نِطَعًا فَيَقِيلُ عِنْدَهَا وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الْعَرَقِ فَتَجْمَعُ عَرَقَهُ فَتَجْعَلُهُ فِي الطِّيبِ وَالْقَوَارِيرِ قَالَتْ وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ

tabarani:21858 – Zakariyyā b. Ḥamdawayh al-Ṣaffār > ʿAffān > Wuhayb > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas > Um Sulaym

[Machine] It was reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to visit her and she would offer him a mat to sit on. It is narrated that the Prophet ﷺ had excessive perspiration, so she would collect his sweat and put it in a bottle. The Prophet ﷺ asked her, "What is this?" She replied, "We mix your sweat with perfumes." The Prophet ﷺ then prayed for blessings upon her.

الطبراني:٢١٨٥٨ – حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا عَفَّانُ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِيهَا فَيَقِيلُ عِنْدَهَا فَتَبْسُطُ لَهُ نِطَعًا فَيَقِيلُ عَلَيْهِ وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الْعَرَقِ فَكَانَتْ تَجْمَعُ عَرَقَهُ فَتَجْعَلُهُ فِي الطِّيبِ وَالْقَوَارِيرِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَتْ عَرَقُكَ نَجْعَلُهُ فِي الطِّيبِ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَة

bayhaqi:4196 – Abū al-Ḥasan b. ʿAbdān > Aḥmad b. ʿUbayd al-Ṣaffār > Ismāʿīl al-Qāḍī > Ibrāhīm b. al-Ḥajjāj > Wuhayb b. Khālid > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The Prophet would visit Umm Salim and it would be said that he would pray on a mat. He would sweat a lot, so she would collect his sweat from the mat and put it in bottles with perfume. He would also pray on a khumra.
