ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ هَذَا الرَّجُلَ غُفِرَ لَهُ ذَنْبُهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ، وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ لِذَلِكَ الْفِعْلِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "A man's sins will be forgiven if he removes a thorny branch from the path of people, regardless of the magnitude of his past and future sins."  

ابن حبّان:٥٣٩أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ دَرَّاجًا أَبَا السَّمْحِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «غُفِرَ لِرَجُلٍ أَخَذَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ عَنْ طَرِيقِ النَّاسِ ذَنْبُهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ»
