[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a military expedition ahead of Najd, led by Aban ibn Sa'id ibn Al-'As. Aban came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after the conquest of Khaybar, and I said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, do not distribute anything to them." Aban became angry, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wait, O Aban." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ refused to distribute anything to them.  

ابن حبّان:٤٨١٥b – قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ فَذَكَرْتُهُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْعَاصِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ عَلَيْهَا أَبَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ فَقَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ فَتْحِ خَيْبَرَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَا تَقْسِمْ لَهُمْ فَقَالَ فَغَضِبَ أَبَانُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَهْلًا يَا أَبَانُ» وَأَبَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَقْسِمَ لَهُمْ شَيْئًا
