[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a group ahead towards Najd, with Aban ibn Sa'id ibn Al-Aas leading them. He arrived to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after the conquest of Khaybar. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, do not distribute anything to them." Aban got angry and approached him with his spear. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wait, Aban." But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ refused to distribute anything to them.  

ابن حبّان:٤٨١٤c – قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ فَذَكَرْتُهُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْعَاصِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ عَلَيْهَا أَبَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ فَقَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ فَتْحِ خَيْبَرَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَا تَقْسِمْ لَهُمْ فَغَضِبَ أَبَانُ وَنَالَ مِنْهُ قَالَ وَحَمَلَ عَلَيْهِ بِرُمْحِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَهْلًا يَا أَبَانُ وَأَبَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَقْسِمَ لَهُمْ شَيْئًا
