ذِكْرُ السَّبَبِ الَّذِي بِهِ فَرَّقَ بَيْنَ السَّبْيِ وَالْمُقَاتِلَةِ

[Machine] "I was the first to judge them, Saad brought me and I saw that he would kill me, so they uncovered my suffering and found that I did not grow, so they made me captive."  

ابن حبّان:٤٧٨٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ بِبُسْتَ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ

«كُنْتُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ حَكَمَ فِيهِمْ سَعْدٌ فَجِيءَ بِي وَأَنَا أَرَى أَنَّهُ سَيَقْتُلُنِي فَكَشَفُوا عَنْ عَانَتِي فَوَجَدُونِي لَمْ أُنْبِتْ فَجَعَلُونِي فِي السَّبْيِ»

[Machine] I was among those whom Saad bin Muadh ruled over. The Messenger of Allah commanded that their fighters be killed and their children be taken as captives. They brought me and I could only see that they were going to kill me. They uncover my arm and found that it had not grown any hair. So they put me among the captives.  

البيهقي:١٨٠٢٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ
