ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحُ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the son of Um Maktum calls the adhan, then eat and drink. But when Bilal calls the adhan, do not eat or drink. If any of us still has some remaining food from pre-dawn meal, then say to Bilal: Wait until I finish my pre-dawn meal."  

ابن حبّان:٣٤٧٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ زَاذَانَ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ أُنَيْسَةَ بِنْتِ خُبَيْبٍ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَذَّنَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَإِذَا أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ فَلَا تَأْكُلُوا وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا فَإِنْ كَانَتِ الْوَاحِدَةُ مِنَّا لَيَبْقَى عَلَيْهَا الشَّيْءُ مِنْ سَحُورِهَا فَتَقُولُ لِبِلَالٍ أَمْهِلْ حَتَّى أَفْرَغَ مِنْ سَحُورِي»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the son of Umm Maktoom calls the Adhan, eat and drink, and when Bilal calls the Adhan, do not eat or drink." She (the woman) said, "What if the woman still has some leftover food from her Sahur (pre-dawn meal), and she says to Bilal, 'Wait until I finish my Sahur?'"  

أحمد:٢٧٤٤٠ – حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَاذَانَ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ أُنَيْسَةَ بِنْتِ خُبَيْبٍ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَذَّنَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَإِذَا أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ فَلَا تَأْكُلُوا وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا قَالَتْ وَإِنْ كَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ لَيَبْقَى عَلَيْهَا مِنْ سُحُورِهَا فَتَقُولُ لِبِلَالٍ أَمْهِلْ حَتَّى أَفْرُغَ مِنْ سُحُورِي

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When Ibn Umm Maktum calls the Adhan, eat and drink, and when Bilal calls the Adhan, do not eat nor drink." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 640)   

السيوطي:١٠٨٥a –

"إذا أذَّن ابن أمِّ مكتومٍ فكلوا واشربوا، وإذا أذن بلالٌ فلا تأكلوا ولا تشربوا".
