ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ الْبُكَاءِ الَّذِي نَهَى النِّسَاءَ عَنِ اسْتِعْمَالِهِ عِنْدَ الْمَصَائِبِ

ibnhibban:3156Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Ismāʿīl b. Ibrāhīm al-Hudhalī > Abū Usāmah > Ibn Jābir > Makḥūl And Ghayruh > Abū Umāmah

It was narrated from Abu Umamah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the woman who scratches her face and rends her garment and cries that she is doomed (i.e. because of the death of this person). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1585)  

ابن حبّان:٣١٥٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْهُذَلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَكْحُولٌ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ الْخَامِشَةَ وَجْهَهَا وَالشَّاقَّةَ جَيْبَهَا وَالدَّاعِيَةَ بِالْوَيْلِ «
