[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three practices of ignorance that the people of Islam will not abandon: wailing, seeking rain through divination, and superstitions."  

ابن حبّان:٣١٤١أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «ثَلَاثٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَا يَتْرُكُهُنَّ أَهْلُ الْإِسْلَامِ النِّيَاحَةُ وَالِاسْتِسْقَاءُ بِالْأَنْوَاءِ وَالتَّعَايُرُ»

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Three practices of the people of ignorance that the people of Islam do not abandon are wailing, seeking rain through certain stars, and saying, 'O family of so-and-so, O family of so-and-so.' I said to Sa'id, ‘What is it?’ He said, 'It is a practice of the people of ignorance to call upon specific families.'"  

أحمد:٧٥٦٠حَدَّثَنَا رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ ثَلَاثٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَا يَتْرُكُهُنَّ أَهْلُ الْإِسْلَامِ النِّيَاحَةُ وَالِاسْتِسْقَاءُ بِالْأَنْوَاءِ وَكَذَا قُلْتُ لِسَعِيدٍ وَمَا هُوَ؟ قَالَ دَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَا آلَ فُلَانٍ يَا آلَ فُلَانٍ

الطبراني:٢١٧٨حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَزْدِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ قَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جُنَادَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ثَلَاثٌ مِنْ فِعْلِ أَهْلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَا يَدَعُهُنَّ أَهْلُ الْإِسْلَامِ اسْتِسْقَاءٌ بِالْكَوَاكِبِ وَطَعْنٌ فِي النَّسَبِ وَالنِّيَاحَةُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ»
