ذِكْرُ اسْتِغْفَارِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ لِعَائِدِ الْمَرِيضِ مِنَ الْغَدَاةِ إِلَى الْعَشِيِّ، وَمَنَ الْعَشِيِّ إِلَى الْغَدَاةِ

Are you visiting Hasan [during his sickness] when you feel what you feel? He said to him. Yes; you are not the Lord of my heart, to direct it as you wili. ʿAli ؓ said: That does not prevent me from giving you advice, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “There is no Muslim who visits a [sick] Muslim, but Allah will send to him seventy thousand angels who will send blessings upon him from whatever hour of the day it is until evening comes, and from whatever hour of the night it is until morning comes.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 955)   

ابن حبّان:٢٩٥٨أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ زَارَ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَا عَمْرُو أَتَزُورُ حَسَنًا وَفِي النَّفْسِ مَا فِيهَا؟ قَالَ

نَعَمْ يَا عَلِيُّ لَسْتَ بِرَبِّ قَلْبِي تَصْرِفُهُ حَيْثُ شِئْتَ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ أَمَا إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَا يَمْنَعُنِي مِنْ أَنْ أُؤَدِّيَ إِلَيْكَ النَّصِيحَةَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنِ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَعُودُ مُسْلِمًا إِلَّا ابْتَعَثَ اللَّهُ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي أَيِّ سَاعَاتِ النَّهَارِ كَانَ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ وَأَيِّ سَاعَاتِ اللَّيْلِ كَانَ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ»
