ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا يَجِبُ عَلَى الْمَرْءِ مِنْ إِرْضَاءِ اللَّهِ عِنْدَ سَخَطِ الْمَخْلُوقِينَ

ibnhibban:277 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Ibrāhīm b. Yaʿqūb al-Jūzajānī > ʿUthmān b. ʿUmar > Shuʿbah > Wāqid b. Muḥammad > Ibn Abū Mulaykah > al-Qāsim > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever seeks to please Allah by angering people, Allah will suffice him. And whoever seeks to please people by angering Allah, Allah will deliver him to the people."  

ابن حبّان:٢٧٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْجُوزَجَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ وَاقِدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَرْضَى اللَّهَ بِسَخَطِ النَّاسِ كَفَاهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ أَسْخَطَ اللَّهَ بِرِضَا النَّاسِ وَكَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَى النَّاسِ»
