ذِكْرُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الْإِكْثَارِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ رَجَاءً لِمُصَادَفَةِ السَّاعَةِ الَّتِي يُسْتَجَابُ فِيهَا دُعَاءُ الْمَرْءِ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ

ibnhibban:2561 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Abū Khaythamah Zuhayr b. Ḥarb > Jarīr > al-Aʿmash > Abū Sufyān > Jābir

[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "During the night, there is an hour in which no Muslim person asks Allah for good in this life and the hereafter except that Allah gives it to him."

ابن حبّان:٢٥٦١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «فِي اللَّيْلِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُوَافِقُهَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ خَيْرًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ»

There is an hour during the night in which no Muslim individual will ask Allah for good in this world and the next without His giving it to him; and that applies to every night.

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There is an hour during the night in which no Muslim bondman will ask Allah for good in this world and the next but He will grant it to him.

مسلم:٧٥٧b – وَحَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

ابن ماجة:١١٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةً لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ فِيهَا خَيْرًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ وَقَلَّلَهَا بِيَدِهِ

ahmad:10068 – ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Ḥammād > Muḥammad b. Ziyād > Abū Hurayrah > Abū al-Qāsim ﷺ
