ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحُ بِإِبَاحَةِ مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ

ibnhibban:2296 – ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad al-Azdī > Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > Sufyān > al-Zuhrī > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib > Abū Hurayrah > a man

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, can one of us pray in the same garment (i.e., without changing it)? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, 'Do you all find two garments?' Abu Hurairah, who asked him, said, 'Do you know that Abu Hurairah offers prayers in a single garment while his clothes are hanging on a peg?'"

ابن حبّان:٢٢٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُصَلِّي أَحَدُنَا فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَوَكُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ» فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ لِلَّذِي سَأَلَهُ «أَتَعْرِفُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ هُوَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ وَثِيَابُهُ مَوْضُوعَةٌ عَلَى الْمِشْجَبِ»

[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah, "Should one of us pray in a single garment?" He replied, "Do all of you have two garments?" Abu Huraira said, "Do you know that Abu Huraira used to pray in a single garment, and his clothes were patched?"
