ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْقَوْمَ كَانُوا يَقْرَءُونَ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَعَ الصَّوْتِ حَيْثُ قَالَ لَهُمْ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ، لَا أَنَّ رَجُلًا وَاحِدًا كَانَ هُوَ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ وَحْدَهُ

ibnhibban:1850 – Muḥammad b. al-Ḥusayn b. Yūnus b. Abū Shaykh Bikufr Tūthā from Diyār Rabīʿah > Isḥāq b. Zurayq al-Rasʿanī > al-Firyābī > al-Awzāʿī > al-Zuhrī > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed a prayer and recited aloud. Some people read along with him. After he finished, he asked, "Has anyone among you recited?" They replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "I do not compete in recitation of the Quran." He said, "Therefore, let the Muslims take a lesson from this, and they should not recite aloud."  

ابن حبّان:١٨٥٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْخٌ بِكُفْرِ تُوثَا مِنْ دِيَارِ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ زُرَيْقٍ الرَّسْعَنِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَاةً فَجَهَرَ فِيهَا فَقَرَأَ أُنَاسٌ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ «قَرَأَ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ؟ » قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ «إِنِّي لَأَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ؟ » قَالَ «فَاتَّعَظَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ بِذَلِكَ فَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَقْرَءُونَ»

أحمد:١٠٣١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أُكَيْمَةَ الْجُنْدُعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةً فَجَهَرَ فِيهَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ هَلْ قَرَأَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مَعِي آنِفًا؟ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ أَنَا قَالَ إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ  

ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ رَفْعِ الصَّوْتِ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ لِلْمَأْمُومِ خَلْفَ إِمَامِهِ

[Machine] Heﷺ said to us, the messenger of Allahﷺ led us in prayer in which he recited aloud. When he finished, he turned to the people and said, "Did anyone among you recite before me?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "I would never argue with the Quran."  

ابن حبّان:١٨٤٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُكَيْمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَاةً فَجَهَرَ فِيهَا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ اسْتَقْبَلَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ «هَلْ قَرَأَ آنِفًا مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ؟ » قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ «لَأَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ! »  

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ هَذَا الْكَلَامَ الْأَخِيرَ فَانْتَهَى النَّاسُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ وَاتَّعَظَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ بِذَلِكَ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ قَوْلُ الزُّهْرِيِّ لَا مِنْ كَلَامِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

[Machine] Abu Huraira heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ leading us in prayer and he recited loudly. When he finished the prayer, he said, "Did any one of you recite with me?" They replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Why did I not hear anyone arguing with me in the recitation of the Qur'an?"
