[Machine] "There were three actions that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do but people abandoned them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he stood up for prayer, used to raise his hands up to his shoulders, and he used to stand for a little while before reciting the Qur'an, supplicating to Allah for His mercy. And he used to say 'Allahu Akbar' (God is the Greatest) in every bowing and prostration during the prayer."

[Machine] Abu Hurairah came to us in the mosque of Bani Zuraiq and said, "There are three things that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do, which people have neglected. He used to raise his hands when entering prayer, and he used to say takbeer (Allahu Akbar) when he bowed and when he raised his head from bowing. Also, he used to remain silent before reciting the Quran, and during that time, he would ask Allah for His blessings." Yazid added, "He used to supplicate to Allah and ask for His blessings."

[Machine] People have abandoned three practices that the Messenger of Allah used to do. When the Messenger of Allah stood up for prayer, he would raise his hands up to the level of his shoulders, then he would remain still before reciting the Quran for a moment, beseeching Allah for His blessings. He would also say "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is Great) every time he lowered or raised his hands.
