The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he stood up for prayer, used to raise his hands up to his shoulders, and he used to stand for a little while before reciting the Qur'an, supplicating to Allah for His mercy. And he used to say 'Allahu Akbar' (God is the Greatest) in every bowing and prostration during the prayer."
