[Machine] He said to the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah, do you see a medicine that we can use for treatment, and a talisman that we can hang with it? Does that go against Allah's decree in any way?" The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "It is part of Allah's decree." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about this in his summary.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ دَوَاءً نَتَدَاوَى بِهِ وَرُقًى نَسْتَرْقِي بِهَا هَلْ يَرُدُّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهُ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

Will these actions cancel out the predestination of Allah?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, 'That falls under the predestination of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted.'"

أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ دَوَاءً نَتَدَاوَى بِهِ وَرُقًى نَسْتَرْقِي بِهَا وَتُقًى نَتَّقِيهَا هَلْ يَرُدُّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللهِ شَيْئًا؟ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى

[Machine] He said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you see a remedy that we can seek healing through, and a treatment that we can practice precaution with? Does this contradict the decree of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, in any way?" So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, it is a part of the decree of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ دَوَاءً نَتَدَاوَى بِهِ وَرُقًى نَسْتَرْقِيهَا وَتُقًى نَتَّقِيهَا هَلْ يَرُدُّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى مِنْ شَيْءٍ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّهُ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللهِ عَزَّوَجَلَّ

[Machine] He said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you think there is a medicine for us to hainhealing, a method to seek fortune, or actions we can do that will contradict the decree of Allah?" He (the Messenger) replied, "O Ka'b, no, it is all part of the decree of Allah."  

ابن حبّان:٦١٠٠أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو بِالْفُسْطَاطِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ دَوَاءً نَتَدَاوَى بِهِ وَرُقًى نَسْتَرْقِي بِهَا وَأَشْيَاءَ نَفْعَلُهَا هَلْ تَرُدُّ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «يَا كَعْبُ بَلْ هِيَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ»
