“Eat unripe dates with ripe one and eat old dates with new ones, for Satan gets angry and says: ‘The son of Adam will survive so long as he eats old dates with new ones.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3330)   

الحاكم:٧١٣٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدٌ التَّيْمِيُّ وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاودَ الْعَتَكِيُّ وَنَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ قَالُوا ثَنَا أَبُو زُكَيْرٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ هِشَامَ بْنَ عُرْوَةَ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كُلُوا الْبَلَحَ بِالتَّمْرِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ إِذَا أَكَلَهُ ابْنُ آدَمَ غَضِبَ وَقَالَ بَقِيَ ابْنُ آدَمَ حَتَّى أَكَلَ الْجَدِيدَ بِالْخَلَقِ» حديث منكر

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Eat the dates, for when the son of Adam eats them, the devil becomes enraged and says, 'The son of Adam is living until he has eaten the fresh fruits.'"
