[Machine] It was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a man giving testimony, so he said to me: "O Ibn Abbas, do not testify except to what is clear to you, like the brightness of this sun." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointed with his hand towards the sun.
ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرَّجُلَ يَشْهَدُ بِشَهَادَةٍ فَقَالَ لِي «يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ لَا تَشْهَدُ إِلَّا عَلَى مَا يُضِيءُ لَكَ كَضِيَاءِ هَذَا الشَّمْسِ» وَأَوْمَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الشَّمْسِ
[Machine] It was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that a man testifies with a testimony. So he said: "As for you, O Ibn Abbas, do not testify except for a matter that is clear to you like the brightness of this sun." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointed with his hand towards the sun and said: "Muhammad ibn Sulaiman ibn Masmaul spoke about this." Al-Humaidi spoke about it, but it is not known if it was reliable or not. And Allah knows best.
