"Zam'ah had a slave woman with whom he used to have intercourse, but he suspected that someone else was also having intercourse with her. She gave birth to a child who resembled the one whom he suspected. Zam'ah died when she was pregnant, and Sawdah mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah said: 'The child is the bed's, but veil yourself from him, O Sawdah, for he is not a brother of yours.'"

كَانَتْ لِزَمْعَةَ جَارِيَةٌ يَطَؤُهَا هُوَ وَكَانَ يَظُنُّ بِآخَرَ يَقَعُ عَلَيْهَا فَجَاءَتْ بِوَلَدٍ شِبْهِ الَّذِي كَانَ يَظُنُّ بِهِ فَمَاتَ زَمْعَةُ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ سَوْدَةُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ فَلَيْسَ لَكِ بِأَخٍ

[AI] "That Zamaa had a maidservant and he used to have a sexual relationship with her. They accused her, then she got pregnant. The Prophet said to Sawdah, 'As for the inheritance, it belongs to him. But as for you, separate yourself from him, O Sawdah, for you do not have a brother.'"

أَنَّ زَمْعَةَ كَانَتْ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ وَكَانَ تَبَطَّنَهَا وَكَانُوا يَتَّهِمُونَهَا فَوَلَدَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِسَوْدَةَ أَمَّا الْمِيرَاثُ فَلَهُ وَأَمَّا أَنْتِ فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَكِ بِأَخٍ

[AI] There was a man who had a servant girl, and he used to have relations with her. They accused her and she became pregnant. The Prophet ﷺ said, "As for the inheritance, it belongs to him, and as for you, O Sawda, stay away from him, for you have no relationship with him."

أَنَّ زَمْعَةَ كَانَتْ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ وَكَانَ يَطَأُهَا وَكَانُوا يَتَّهِمُونَهَا فَوَلَدَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَمَا الْمِيرَاثُ فَلَهُ وَأَمَّا أَنْتِ فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَكِ بِأَخٍ»

"Zam'ah had a slave woman with whom he used to have intercourse, but he suspected that someone else was also having intercourse with her. أَنَّهُ يَقَعُ عَلَيْهَا فَجَاءَتْ بِوَلَدٍ شَبَهَ الَّذِي كَانَ تُظَنُّ بِهِ فَمَاتَ زَمْعَةُ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ سَوْدَةُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ فَلَيْسَ لَكِ بِأَخٍ»

"أمَّا الميراث فَلَهُ، وَأمَّا أنْتِ فاحْتجِبى مِنْهُ يا سَوْدَة فَإِنَّهُ ليسَ لَكِ بأخٍ" .

"عَن ابْنِ الزُّبيْرِ: أَنَّ زَمْعَةَ كَانَ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ وَكَانَ يَطَؤُهَا، وَكَانُوا يَتَّهِمُونَهَا، فَوَلَدَتْ، فَقَالَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ لِسَوْدَةَ: أَمَّا المِيرَاثُ فَلَهُ، وَأَمَّا أَنْتِ فَاحْتَجِبِى مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَكِ بِأخٍ".
