[Machine] That the mother of Hane' bin Abi Talib informed him that she said to the Messenger of Allah: "O Messenger of Allah, my son Ali claims that he killed someone whom I had employed." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied: "We have rewarded those whom you reward."
أَنَّ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَزْعُمُ ابْنُ أُمِّي عَلِيٌّ أَنَّهُ قَاتِلٌ مَنْ أَجَرْتُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَرْتِ»
Ibn ‘Abbas said “Umm Hani daughter of Abu Talib told me that in the year of the conquest she gave protection to a man from the polytheists. She came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned it to him. He said “We have given security to those to whom you have given it.”
حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَنَّهَا أَجَارَتْ رَجُلاً مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَتْ لَهُ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَرْتِ وَأَمَّنَّا مَنْ أَمَّنْتِ
[Machine] He informed him that he heard Umm Hani, the daughter of Abu Talib, speaking of her visit to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the year of conquest. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, my foster brother claims to have killed a man whom I hired someone to kill, Fulan bin Hubayrah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ responded, "We have already rewarded the one whom you rewarded, O Umm Hani."
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهَا ذَهَبَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ زَعَمَ ابْنُ أُمِّي أَنَّهُ قَاتِلٌ رَجُلًا أَجَرْتُهُ فُلَانُ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَرْتِ يَا أُمَّ هَانِئٍ»
[Machine] She said, "O Messenger of Allah, my son Ali claims that he is the one who killed the one I hired." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , replied, "We have given the reward to the one who did the killing."
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ «زَعَمَ ابْنُ أُمِّي عَلِيٌّ أَنَّهُ قَاتِلٌ مَنْ أَجَرْتُ» فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَرْتِ»
