that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There are two ˹types˺ of Fajr (dawn) ˹times˺: a Fajr in which food is forbidden while prayer becomes permissible, and a Fajr in which prayer is forbidden while food becomes permissible.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «الْفَجْرُ فَجْرَانِ فَجْرٌ يَحْرُمُ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ وَتَحِلُّ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَفَجْرٌ تَحْرُمُ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَيَحِلُّ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are two dawns. One dawn prohibits food and allows prayer, and one dawn allows food and prohibits prayer."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفَجْرُ فَجْرَانِ فَجْرٌ يَحْرُمُ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ وَتَحِلُّ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَفَجْرٌ يَحِلُّ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ وَتَحْرُمُ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'There are two dawns (Fajr); one in which eating becomes permissible and prayer becomes prohibited, and one in which prayer becomes permissible and eating becomes prohibited. Like this.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْفَجْرُ فَجْرَانِ فَجْرٌ يَحِلُّ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ وَيَحْرُمُ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَفَجْرٌ يَحِلُّ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَيَحْرُمُ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ هَكَذَا
[Machine] The dawn is two dawns. It rises during the night when eating and drinking are allowed but praying is not, and it rises when praying is allowed but eating and drinking are forbidden. It is the one that spreads over the mountaintops.
الْفَجْرُ فَجْرَانِ فَجْرٌ يَطْلُعُ بِلَيْلٍ يَحِلُّ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ وَالشَّرَابُ وَلَا يَحِلُّ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَفَجْرٌ يَحِلُّ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَيَحْرُمُ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ وَالشَّرَابُ وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَنْتَشِرُ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْجِبَالِ
"الْفَجْرُ فَجْرَان: فَجْرٌ يَحُرمٌ فِيهِ الطَّعَامُ وَتَحِلُّ فيه الصَّلاةُ، وَفَجْرٌ يَحْرمُ فِيه الصَّلاةُ وَيَحِلُّ فِيهِ الطَّعَام" .
