[Machine] "Amr, son of Al-Ahtam, son of Sumayy, son of Sinan, son of Khalid, son of Minqar, son of Ubaid, son of Muqais, son of Amr, son of Kaab, son of Saad, son of Zaid, from the Banu Tamim tribe. The name Ahtam is synonymous with Sinan. His valor was hailed on the Day of the Battle of the Dogs."  

الحاكم:٦٥٦٧حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْعُسَيِلِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ

«عَمْرُو بْنُ الْأَهْتَمِ بْنِ سُمَيِّ بْنِ سِنَانِ بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ مِنْقَرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مُقَاعِسِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ مَنَاةَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ وَاسْمُ الْأَهْتَمِ سِنَانُ هَتَمَتْ ثَنِيَّتَاهُ يَوْمَ الْكِلَابِ»
