[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "I have been affected by seminal discharge and I have rubbed myself with dust." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do this." And he struck the ground with his hands, then wiped his face with them, then he struck the ground again with his hands and wiped his arms with them up to the elbows.  

الحاكم:٦٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ عَزْرَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَصَابَنِي جَنَابَةٌ وَإِنِّي تَمَعَّكْتُ فِي التُّرَابِ فَقَالَ «اضْرِبْ هَكَذَا» وَضَرَبَ بِيَدَيْهِ الْأَرْضَ فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِيَدَيْهِ فَمَسَحَ بِهِمَا إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِصحيح

[Machine] He struck, so he struck the ground with his hands, then wiped his face. Then he struck with his hands and wiped his hands up to his elbows. This is what he said and its chain of narration is authentic, except that he did not clarify the matter to him by that.
